I'm sure many of you heard about Fashion's tragic loss of an icon, Alexander McQueen.
He was a revolutionary in the fashion world, and it's a devastating blow to the fashion world.
I was lucky enough to don one of his gowns for a photo shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Michael Scott Kenney:
Can you see the detail?!?!?! This gown changed my fashion life! If I could have kept it, I prolly would have had it altered to fit me, and worn it for my wedding.
We'll miss you McQueen, and we salute you!

So So So sad. I didn't know about this shoot. Glad you posted it. I also love the crazy crazy shoes he designed. So talented and so young.
I remember these photos!! So lovely. How wonderful you got to model one of his beautiful gowns. The world lost another amazing talent. What a great post to honor his memory.
I LOVE those photos. Didn't realize that dress was one of his...I'm sure he would've loved to see you in it. :)
His death was so very sad...but I do love these photos, my dear. You look gorgeous. :)
